Hey guys, I’ve just installed some comment spam protection plugins for WordPress (the blog system this blog uses) and I’ve also opened up user registration, so you guys can post comments. So anyway, I’ve installed Spam Karma and Bad Behavior. That should be enough to keep out spammers, and if it’s not, I can bump up the protection. The links to these sites/plugins are also located to the right of this post on the sidebar.

Well, I just had dinner with my family, and it was an interesting one at that. My borther-in-law brought up the subject of me finding a job (since I slept until 4pm today). My sister said I should put my resumé up on Monster.com, but I told her it hasn’t been updated in a few years. She responded by tell me it was time to get it up to date. Since I’ll be 20 in August, I agree with both of them that I need a steady job, although, making $425 for being home 2 weeks from college ain’t bad at all. I think I’ll get a co-op at NJIT, although I’m really not sure now what I want to do…either I’ll go into Network Administration, or Game Design. Both things sound like fun. Speaking of Network Administration, I have 3 chapters to read and summarize for my IT 420 class…it’s a shame I can’t use my CompTIA Network+ certification to bypass this boring (so far) course. Oh well.
By the way, I’m in Ocean City right now. My family and I are down the shore for Memorial Day Weekend. I’ll probably be back home Monday night, where I’ll be at my normal home computer. Of course, I’m on my laptop right now, which is better than nothing. That GameTap error I’m getting I only get on my laptop and it’s pissing me off!
Well, so far, I didn’t figure out that issue with GameTap, considering how helpful support is. It’s really nice that you can chat with them online instead of calling in. It saves time and hassle, but it’s not like you wouldn’t want to call in anyway, since there’s rarely a wait at all.
Whew! I finally got everything the way I want it. I’ll post in a bit, while I figure out this issue with GameTap.
