Bird crap…American flags…sunrise…take your pick!
But seriously, there’s nothing like a sunrise. Staying up all night and watching it rise over the buildings gives you a nice warm feeling…especially if it shines on you!
Today, my suitemate Jimmy and I took a trip from NJIT to NYC, specifically the Nintendo World Store. I have to say, taking the trains/subways is quite an experience. Since I can never drive, I can appreciate the fact that those systems are in place if I need them, since they are my only means of getting around for now. While we were waiting for the train from Penn Station, Newark to Penn Station, New York, some guy came up to us asking us for a bit of spare change for the next train. Weird.
After stumbling around NYC for a bit, we finally got there!
Wii was behind glass…it’s a shame we couldn’t play it. The store offered a lot more though:
Lastly, Jimmy wanted to see Ground Zero. It’s nothing more than a huge fence stopping access from a big hole. The subway near the area is still working fine, and is used as a memorial site:
The streets of New York are filled with people and stores. Some are begging for money, while others are advertising things, while still others are yelling that the “white man” is a bad thing. Whatever.
From my spambox:

Watch this video. I give this guy major props for remaking the cel-shaded look down to a T, and for a very funny and enjoyable 2 minutes.
Since everyone else was Digging this from the original site, etc., I decided to join in the fray. I linked BoingBoing, since the original site’s pictures are down for bandwidth limits, and BoingBoing was the only one that snagged a pic before the crowds. If you look below the BoingBoing article, you’ll see the original link.
