Time for some Major LOLz

I happened upon this YTMND, and then the video that went along with it.  I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard at something on the Internet, except at the 4chan Garfield strips (the crazy eye ones, scroll down a-ways).  The Garfield strips top the YTMND.  Get ready to grab your sides!

Switching over to Google

I’ve been working over the last week or so switching my email and RSS reading services over to Google. Sure, they may be watching, but I could care less. Google Reader is really handy.

Screw the damned “Series of Tubes”!

As the title says above, screw the damned “Series of Tubes”! Screw the Internet?! Hell no! The “series of tubes”? What else could he be referring to besides the Internet? I am speaking–of course–of this stuff!

I’ve found something better, and I need like…20 of them!

Quick Diversion

Here’s something to pass the time.  I got stuck/bored after Stage 11.  Enjoy.

Ah, Mr. Bond…

Yes, GoldenEye…so many afternoons after school wasted…so many Friday nights with my friend Jeff wasted on it (and then Perfect Dark). After all these years, it’s still the best. So much so that a group of guys did an excellent recreation of it. Kudos!

Movies

This week I saw two movies. On Sunday I saw Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and tonight (Friday) I just got back from seeing 14o8. Fantastic Four wasn’t that great. Most of the action happened in the last 5-10 minutes of the movie. Ugh. Entertaining, but not knock-my-socks off action…just like the first one. 1408 was really well done. The people in the audience were expressing the same emotions I was. Everyone seemed to have a good time. 1408 had a lot of “WTF?” moments, but hey it’s Stephen King. Awesome. I almost felt sorry for the poor guy at times.

Gadgets of Summer

Robots of the lawnmowing and Linux variety are on this list of sumer gadgets, but the guys at C|Net know great portable gaming: the Nintendo DS.

Dell’s working on it

They’re working on getting rid of all the bloatware that comes on their PCs.  Good!  I remember spending 2 hours just to get rid of any extra programs/old versions of software that come on their PCs.

The Future of Computing: A Bigass Table

I lol at everything. This video is no exception.

Sam & Max Hit the Steam!

Comic books, Saturday morning cartoons, an old PC game…well at least I didn’t miss one thing! Big thanks to my cousin Cam for giving me his original CD of Sam & Max Hit the Road and helping me discover a great series! Furry gamers rejoice! It’s time to waste some cash on some snappy comeback lines….
