- I’m back at NJIT.
- My copy of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is not going to be delivered today from Amazon….
Let me know if you can find it online somewhere because I have a week to burn before school actually starts, and I don’t want it to come on the first day of classes, which is Sept. 5th. - I’m throughly enjoying Bioshock on the PC via Steam, but for those of you not in the fray already, check out the Bioshock Preparation Program!
- Greece has a Disco Inferno on its hands, and it can be seen from space. Cool pics, but I hope no one has gotten hurt thus far….
- Important cargo is going onto Discovery. Star Wars fans will have a mini orgaism. Chewie, stormtroopers, and other Star Wars characters will be on hand to make sure the artifact is safe. Read the article for info on the “trek.”
- Today’s Woot are these, but I don’t get it. I don’t game for that long, and it’s very rare that I have intense gaming moments. Oh well — I guess I’m not in the extreme gamer’s market/group.
- Monster’s ripping people off again. Just don’t do it people.
- China’s got 181 miners trapped in a flooded mine. What does the US do? Hardly report on it. What do they do when 6 of their own are trapped? Report the hell out of it. 6 VS 181, hmmm…which is the greater loss of human life? If we go by media standards, I’d say 6. The comments on digg — which is where I originally heard about the story a couple of days ago — has some funny/sad comments.

I’m 21 today in case anyone cares. I’ll be going down to Atlantic City this weekend. ![]()
I’m now back in Cherry Hill. We ended up getting out of FIEA a lot earlier and got an earlier flight out of FL and came back home.
If you’re looking for a great action flick, go see Transformers NOW!
Seeing a couple of postings relating to how Best Buy treats some of its employees and how some Geek Squad members do their dirty work make me sick. Taking someone’s personal information off their machines without their knowledge. Nope, no sir. That’s not how I do things. I really could care less about someone’s personal information on their machine. That’s their private business, not mine. Someone needs to read the ACM Code of Ethics.
#1 - Fox News: You’re not special and Mr Roger was an Evil Man
Mr. Rogers hurting a generation? No no…just N-O! I never really watched Mr. Rogers as a kid. I think it’s the damned No Child Left Behind shit that’s making kids think they deserve As in school, not Mr. Rogers. It’s also the damn parents. I agree with those “asian kids.”
#2 - Amazing Coordinated Samsung Dance
Just amesome. A bit too long for my taste though. They should have showed only half of it, or made a “quickie” version.

I’ve been working over the last week or so switching my email and RSS reading services over to Google. Sure, they may be watching, but I could care less. Google Reader is really handy.
This week I saw two movies. On Sunday I saw Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and tonight (Friday) I just got back from seeing 14o8. Fantastic Four wasn’t that great. Most of the action happened in the last 5-10 minutes of the movie. Ugh. Entertaining, but not knock-my-socks off action…just like the first one. 1408 was really well done. The people in the audience were expressing the same emotions I was. Everyone seemed to have a good time. 1408 had a lot of “WTF?” moments, but hey it’s Stephen King. Awesome. I almost felt sorry for the poor guy at times.
